Sweet Chilli Crab

Ingredients:

  • 1 Crab (Mud Crab, medium size, uncooked)
  • 2 table spoons of cooking oil
  • 60 ml Tomato Sauce
  • 60 ml Tropicana Special Sweet Chilli Sauce (1/4 jar)
  • 2 table spoons of Shaoxing Wine or Cherry
  • 2 table spoons Kecap Manis (sweet Soya sauce)
  • 1 jar Tropicana Chilli Crab Sauce
  • 1 table spoon of Lime Juice
  • 2 Eggs
  • Fried onion and Coriander for garnishing

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut the crab into s and crack the large claws.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a large wok till just smoking.
  3. Add in 1 jar of Tropicana Chilli Crab Sauce.
  4. Beat eggs in with the sauce; add Tomato sauce, wine, Kecap Manis and Limejuice.
  5. Put crab in the mixed sauce, stir-fry till shell changes colour and meat turns white (approx. 10 minutes).
  6. Spoon the crab and sauce into a big bowl, sprinkle with friend onion and coriander.
  7. Serve immediately with steamed rice or roti prata.
